Hello dear reader, nice to see you here! I’m Eric and I am the creator, owner, editor and webmaster of this site. I have a Bachelor of Communications degree and since 2005 I work for Exact in marketing communications. At Exact, we provide entrepreneurs with software solutions that support every business activity and give real-time insight into the entire business. This gives our customers the freedom to successfully address challenges and opportunities, creating value for their customers and ultimately for themselves. Of course, web technology is becoming more and more important in both the solutions we offer as well as in our own daily work.
As an online communications specialist, specifically focusing on social media, I’ll probably be writing a lot about web-related topics here. Being born in the summer of ‘79, I am somewhere in between what the experts call ‘Generation X’ and ‘Generation Y’. If you would ask me, I would say I’m more the Gen Y type of person. Although I can still remember the time that nobody had an e-mail address, a mobile phone or a Google account, I cannot imagine what my life and career would be without it. Together with my girlfriend Patricia and our cat I live near the beautiful town of Valkenswaard, the place where I was born and raised. For those who have never been there: it’s 10 kilometers south of the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
