Today was not just an ordinary day in the office. Our new headquarter office in Delft was officially opened and there were a lot of festivities going on. One of the visitors is worldfamous, although not many people have met him in real life. Spiderman climbed our office building: the first time ever that Spiderman visits the Netherlands for climbing a building.
Spiderman goes by the name of Alain Robert, lives in France and is world famous for climbing the world’s tallest buildings barehanded. How’s that for showing courage? My colleagues in Kuala Lumpur have him seen climbing the Petronas Towers three years ago. While working on the 34th floor they just saw him coming by on the outside of the building. Without safety equipment, that is. Everybody rushed up to the 48th floor, the other floor that was occupied by Exact, to meet him there again. Somewhere around the 60th floor the security guards made an end to this adventure.
And now he was in Delft for one day. Our office is officially opened and is officially the first Dutch building scaled by Spiderman.
