More and more companies recognise the power of video for customer support. Twitter has also opened a YouTube account to host video’s about how Twitter should be used. I think a two minute video is more valuable than a twenty page tuturial. Let’s have a look at the first few video’s they have published.
What I like about the video’s:
- They’re really made for first time Twitter users. Everybody can understand them.
- It’s more about the ‘why’ than about the ‘how’.
- Although explaining ’software’, there are real people in the video talking about real situations.
- The video’s are in great quality, available in High Definition.
- In the screenshots the discussed sections are being highlighted.
- The screenshots are placed in different perspectives.
- The subtitles make it possible for the hearing impaired (and those without a sound card) to view the video.
What is the timeline?
What is following?
How do I find people to follow?
What is retweeting?
