Yesterday I have officially joined the corporate marketing communications team at Exact. I am very excited that after five years at Exact I now have the opportunity to focus on a new and exciting area of the marketing and communications spectrum. Until today I have been working on product communications in all shapes and forms, and in the last few years social media have started to play an increasingly important role. In my new job I can focus totally on online communications and social media, not only for our product communication but for all marcom activities worldwide.
My job, together with my colleagues from the corporate marketing communications department, is to assist and support our peers worldwide in achieving their goals. We are the internal marketing and communications agency for the 40 country organizations and 3 regions that together form Exact. And together with my two buddy’s from the digital marcom team I take care for all communication channels that require an internet connection.
And of course, being the specialist on social media, I need to have my own website and my own blog. Here I will share some of my experiences, thoughts, information and idea’s. Everything I come accross in my life can get a place on this site: from business related information to personal opinions and from my daily worries to just plain funny stuff. There is however one criterium I think is important: this site is not meant to be about me, it is meant to be about you, visitor, reader, colleague, friend. The site might carry my name, but I hope to post only stuff that is interesting for you!
